Phazebreak Summer Recap:

As summer came to a close, Phazebreak attended RE+, Husum Wind, and Intersolar South America, and published two articles in Windpower Monthly.
The first article, "Dust and Dirt are Cutting Into Wind Farm Profits," was written by our director of marketing, Aaron Dupuis. The article discusses the damage to wind turbines caused by soiling from airborne dirt and dust. Aaron writes that wind sites "in desert and agricultural regions are most at risk, with high winds carrying loose sediments that build up year after year ... Agricultural sites also face insect build-up, while urban projects suffer from high particle density caused by traffic and industry." We are very grateful to Aaron and Windpower Monthly for publishing this article, bringing attention to the issues of soiling and how our coating SURFACE SLIP can protect wind turbines against damage and promote more energy and revenue production.
The second article that featured us this month was written by Gail Rajgor titled "All-weather Shielding to Boost Production, Performance and Profits," with an accompanying video interview with Executive VP of Operations, Dave Rupp. Gail writes that since 2018, "NEINICE from Phazebreak Coatings is the leading icephobic coating for wind turbines," a title that we are very proud to have! Mariza Browning, was also interviewed and spoke on her hopes for Phazebreak's future: “Today, we bring a suite of solutions that address ice, dirt, hail and fungal growth across both wind and solar. What’s next is scaling these technologies globally and continuing to expand the portfolio with coatings that proactively protect assets, extend lifecycles and reduce downtime."
We would like to thank all of the conference organizers and Haymarket for their hard work and collaboration.
